Amazing hostess, pleasant owner and good breakfast. No bath mat (towel) No soap for bath No hand/body cream No rusks or biscuits for morning tea/coffee 1 English breakfast tea bag Rusted shower Rusted bath plug 1 bedside lamp not working (globe?)
The staff were very friendly; the lady was helpful and immediately ready for all our questions, but it was very noisy. We slept above the bar and restaurant and could literally hear everything happening downstairs. Sometimes there was no hot water, but that was fixed quickly.
We had a really great stay here, thanks to the lovely staff who went out of their way to help us. The location was perfect, right by the river and not too far from the main road. The room was spacious and we appreciated the upgrade and delicious breakfast. The newly renovated bathroom was a highlight, but there were a few things that needed attention - like the spider webs on the thatch and the leaky showerhead.
