I appreciated how tidy and quiet the guesthouse was, its beautiful décor, and the fact that it clearly hosts guests from all over the world; we were given clean towels and could use the kitchen, and the host replied promptly. The AC costs extra, the house sits on a hill so you need a lift if you have luggage, and the Wi‑Fi often drops out—probably due to weak coverage in the area.

You can arrange with the owners to have a ride from the airport to the accommodation and back; they drove us in the middle of the night, so thanks for that. Georgian drivers are very fast and tend to overtake, and the roads are in fairly bad condition, so be prepared. The room was tidy and nothing special but everything was great. There’s a nice kitchen that’s well equipped and clean. The terrace is a place to sit and light up. The owner also let us try their wine, which was tasty. The location is a bit far from the center and on a hill, but you can use Bolt, which is cheap if you don’t want to walk.
