Hotel Mai Downtown Long Beach

“Good location. Cover parking was nice. The EV charging was not Tesla destination charging.”

The location was great. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean with nice amenities. The Mai Hotel stated that it had EV Charging, which it did, BUT in order to use the charging station you had to have a Blink App with a created account AND if you have a Tesla you would meet an adapter in order to use the charger. Blink charged a hook up fee as well as $0.49 / kWh. It took us over an hour to set up the Blink account and work out the bugs before we were able to start charging. Also we arrived 1 hour before their check in time of 4 pm and they charged $25.00 for early arrival

The place is well‑located, everything nearby and convenient, and the amenities are clean; the only downside was that my room didn’t have a microwave.

The staff attitude is excellent, but when the door opens the gaps are filled with dust.

The room is spacious, the bathroom facilities are good, and the room is bright, but the reception area feels very small.

The stay was great and very convenient, with many stores nearby and plenty of walking options to reach your destination.
