The location is stunning, and Mark is an outstanding host who responded quickly and helped with travel directions and local recommendations, though a more comfortable chair in the room would be beneficial.

The location is quiet with a separate entrance to the studio. It’s spacious and has everything needed, with breakfast items stocked in the cupboard and fridge, a luxurious duvet, and soft pillows; it would have been nicer to be closer to Carlingford centre to avoid taking a taxi.

A roomy, tastefully decorated room with very comfortable beds and a very communicative and friendly host, plus spectacular views, but the shower alternated between hot and cold and might need an upgrade.

The host is very good, yet the room was very cold and I was given another heater; the towels are wafer thin, but the bed was super comfy. The location is too remote, with a 16‑euro taxi each way to Carlingford, and the nearest food and drink is far away.
