The beds were roomy, although the mattress creaked, and room 406 was fairly large with three chairs and a table. However, that room actually had no windows; the supposed opening was just a tunnel through four walls that let in neither sunlight nor air. As for breakfast, it was the worst I’ve seen—served from 7 am to 10 am, we arrived at 9 am and there were no boiled eggs left, and they didn’t replenish them. The remaining fare was fried yeast flatbreads in butter that were inedible. Other guests wandered in bewildered looking for food, and after we complained they finally gave us tiny portions of omelette.
This hotel in the city centre is good, with a convenient location and a filling breakfast. We enjoyed a pleasant stay overall and found the hotel comfortable and suitable for a short visit.
The staff were available even though we arrived late at night. The room was beautiful, welcoming, and well cared for.
