The décor was impressive, thanks to the love Inés and her brother Fran put into it with their woodwork; every detail mattered. I bought one of the mushroom decorations from their workshop and they shipped it to Madrid. Inés gave magnificent attention. A real luxury.

Inés, the owner, was very accommodating, the temperature was perfect despite the heat outside, the place was beautiful, and breakfast fantastic.

The room was spotlessly clean and set up in a practical way, with a good bed and shower. The garden felt like a peaceful oasis; stepping through the gate you’re surrounded by bonsai trees, handmade wooden décor, and well‑tended plants. From the location you’re quickly on the Camino route. Nothing to complain about.

The bed was comfy, the space was tidy, and it’s super close to everything in town. The hostess is incredibly welcoming—by far the best I’ve met in over four weeks on the Camino—and she gives loads of city tips. She also helped me out during a recent power outage and is a pro at Google Translate when your Spanish is limited. The property was her grandparents’—she and her siblings did a gorgeous renovation, with a lot of custom woodwork by one of her brothers. If a room is available, book it! You’ll be glad you did. Just a heads‑up: breakfast is at a café about two blocks away (follow the map she’ll give you, my phone pointed me elsewhere). 😀

The inside of the property is stunning, lovingly restored and decorated by the owners who hand‑made the furniture and light fixtures. It’s tucked away from the noisy main area yet close enough that you’re near markets and restaurants, giving you both quiet and convenience. It’s my favorite stay on the Camino. The only downside is there’s no kitchen, water, or food service, so you’ll need to get your own supplies nearby— I filled my water bottle at a restaurant.
