The location at Jebel Attin is the best, close to the food street and great dining spots. Khareef brings almost daily drizzles even when the coastal side of Salalah stays dry. I booked the penthouse with outside roof access, which was wonderful. The downside is there’s no elevator to the penthouse building, though the main building does have one.

The place is suitable. The checkout at 11 didn’t suit me, and the air conditioning needs maintenance; there were also some small flying insects.

The location is good. The reception staff lack the competence to greet guests warmly, and the windows in the hotel are unacceptable because the electrical wires are left exposed and the faucets are untidy; unfortunately, the luxury of the site doesn’t match the quality of the resort.

The place looked beautiful and was spotless, and the reception was great—especially the manager, Mr Naif, who impressed us with his generosity and respect.
