The staff were attentive. The shower curtain had mold, the room window was boarded up and faced a beer hall patio that blasted loud music until the early morning. The bed was unmade, the linens were very old and in bad condition.
“Un paso arriba de El Marginal”
The spot is convenient and the common areas are decent enough to forget about, yet the shower didn’t work at all and the breakfast was a cheap mess that didn’t match the photos. The sheets were stained, and being right next to a brewery meant constant loud music every night.
The location was spot on and the staff were genuinely nice, which made the stay pleasant. The only gripe was that the Wi‑Fi kept dropping intermittently.
The place is right in the middle of everything, which was great, but the room looked nothing like the pictures. The bathroom had no hooks for towels or toilet paper – just a few loose screws sticking out of the tiles – and everything felt old and a bit broken. The door to the room kept jamming on the lock and the main entrance felt insecure. We also weren’t told that check‑in, check‑out and breakfast were handled at a different hotel a block away.
