We booked a night after reading many positive reviews; the property looked great with gardens, flowers and plants, making the outdoor area pleasant. The owner was friendly and helpful when handing over the keys. Unfortunately, upon entering the room the situation changed completely. We immediately noticed a strong closed‑in smell, so we left the door open, lacking windows, to try to ventilate the space while we were getting ready for the shower. As soon as the water turned on, another surprise: the toilet bowl emitted a strong rotten‑egg odor, which was unpleasant but disappeared after letting the water run for a few minutes. In the shower there were also soap‑paper residue left by the previous guest. This left us quite perplexed about the cleaning, room preparation, and pre‑handshake checks. We left for an appointment and returned around one a.m.; as soon as we opened the room door we were hit by a terrible mold stench, so strong and unbearable that staying was impossible. The bed linen was also damp. We packed our bags and left in the middle of the night without even being able to sleep. The room with mold smell, damp linen, shower problems, and previous guest residue is, in our opinion, unacceptable.

The first impression was a beautiful building with a garden, but then a huge disappointment. The accommodation was a pub room without windows. Shampoo is almost impossible to find; you have to bring your own, and the toilet paper they give is thin and low quality. You feel like you’re paying a lot for such a terrible pub room. The owners, despite being right next door, don’t seem interested in asking if you’re satisfied or if you need anything; instead you get the impression they’re waiting for you to leave because they’re disappointed. The city is far away, and you definitely won’t get there on a dog.

“In tranquillità a Ravenna”

The room was extremely comfortable, with a very cozy bed, ample space, and a good‑size fridge. A small table was available for various needs and the floor‑level heating with climate control worked well. It stayed very quiet at night. The bathroom in some rooms was shared, there was no kettle in the room, and the breakfast beverage selection was limited.

The surroundings and atmosphere were great. Nothing was lacking; everything was good and excellent.
