The front desk was very pleasant and straightforward, the location quiet and the parking ample; the holiday apartment was spotless and very well equipped, and we would have loved to stay longer, everything was to our liking.

“Absolut toll und erholsam!”

A warm welcome and a completely successful stay. We had a wonderful time in this small, idyllic house in the Thuringian Forest. The location in the tiny village of Rabenäußig is wonderfully quiet and offers a great view into the greenery. At the same time, you can quickly reach Coburg, Sonneberg, and many beautiful local attractions. We especially want to highlight the incredibly warm reception from Johannes, who has just taken over the house from his family. He is an exceptionally friendly, charismatic, and dedicated host, always available and truly striving to make guests’ stays as pleasant as possible. From the first evening, he helped us find a restaurant and even booked a table for us. Breakfast is also offered on request. We had a two‑bedroom apartment and were truly delighted. The apartment was very clean and well‑maintained, the kitchen brand new and fully equipped. Board games were also available—small details that make the stay especially pleasant. We especially liked the two balconies where we could sit in the evenings in peace and even watch the stars. You can see that something new is being created here with a lot of heart. The house is being renovated piece by piece, and Johannes has very nice and ambitious plans for the future. We are already looking forward to seeing how everything develops. For us, it was a completely successful stay—especially because of the combination of the beautiful, quiet location, the clean and cozy accommodation, and a host who makes you feel welcome from the very first moment. We will definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommend the accommodation!

“Schön gelegenes, sehr angenehmes Hotel.”

We were welcomed very warmly, the breakfast offered variety, the pastries were excellent, and the coffee was superb. The room and bathroom were spacious, and the balcony gave a panoramic view. There was a comfortable seating area and a large TV. The hotel is quiet, close to Sonneberg, and Coburg is easily reachable by car. We were very satisfied and would only recommend the hotel.
