Duncan walked us through a detailed safety briefing and gave us hands‑on training on steering and lock management; he also offered practical tips on the water tank gauges, battery life, route planning, and how to avoid manual lock systems. The spot is great, with a pub just a short walk away. I’d definitely recommend Duncan and his narrowboat.

The boat was brilliant and the facilities were excellent; everything matched or exceeded our expectations.
