The hotel was perfect for our three nights, offering the best breakfast during our 15‑day vacation across Argentina and Uruguay, and the rooms were comfortable and spacious enough for two people. The first room had a horrible odor coming from the bathroom duct, but we were moved to a ground‑floor room that was perfect; we later realized that this drainage smell is common in Uruguay, as we noticed it in restaurants too. The area is very commercial, right next to a main avenue, but it’s convenient for walking to Plaza Independencia and Ciudad Vieja. Unfortunately, the parking service with a special rate was a major downside: our car was handed over to someone else, and we nearly missed our flight after waiting 1 hour and 5 minutes for the driver who had taken our rental car the night before to return it. I understand that this isn’t the hotel’s own parking, but it’s where they send clients with special rates, and it was the worst experience of my life.
