The room size was just right and the service felt old‑school and proper, with meticulous luggage handling and car pick‑up; the two‑star hotel provided a bath mat, small soap, cotton swabs and shampoo, plus waterproof pillows for the pool. Nothing could be better.

The hotel is magnificent, located in an old building with beautiful woodwork. The pool in a lovely garden is splendid, and the reception, especially, is remarkably kind.
