“Quite a find and I would highly recommend.”
We liked how the place looked and felt, a building with history and character. Our room was cosy, comfortable and spotless, and breakfast suited us with a cold array of quality products, except the croissant was just warm. The stairs were a little awkward—old, steep, and small steps—so be aware that it’s an old building. A shelf in our bathroom would have been useful for toiletries.

The location was great, the host very pleasant, breakfasts superb, and the accommodation overall lovely. Nothing to add.

The hotel’s location is super convenient for Wells, and the breakfast was good, though I’d have liked a wholemeal toast option; the pillows, however, need replacing.
