The entire atmosphere feels special; Acamar secures great parking spots in Aswan and Luxor, and you always have a sea view. We really enjoyed everything. Ask for a detailed programme after booking because it’s another company—it helps to know the planning, which is great!

The luxurious Acamar boat was super comfortable and felt very premium; the staff were very professional, the rooms were spacious with great river views, and the facilities were wheelchair friendly—a rare find on a Nile cruise. Food was great, and attention to detail didn’t fall short, in the room or at the restaurant. The organisation of the excursions could be improved in communication and overall coordination; for instance, a detailed itinerary with accurate pick‑up and drop‑off times and locations, guide contacts, and transport quality would help. We had a couple of hiccups, but the management did everything they could to maintain the cruise’s high standards during excursions and when not onboard.

We spent four unforgettable days cruising the Nile on the Acamar from Luxor to Asuán, and we couldn't be more satisfied. The ship was a high‑level, elegant yet cozy floating venue with a calm, refined atmosphere, and our room was spacious, bright, with large windows overlooking the Nile, very comfortable beds, and a modern bathroom; the housekeeping was discreet but always attentive. The dining was first‑class, with a different buffet each day featuring both traditional Egyptian and international dishes, fresh ingredients, and careful presentation; desserts and freshly baked bread stood out, and the dining staff were very friendly with smiles. Overall cleanliness was excellent, with constant attention to common areas and careful protocols everywhere, and the staff were professional, warm, and well organized. The tours were brought to life by our guide Aladino from Galaxia, whose deep knowledge, passion for Egyptian history, and human warmth made Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and the Philae temple feel alive.
