The location is right by the metro station, and the old town is only a few stops away. If you take the metro to Jardim do Morro, you cross the Ponte Luis I bridge. Guesthouse Marques has nice rooms; mine was newly renovated and had a small balcony. It might be a little tight for two people, but everything is available. There is someone on site 24 hours, which is not common these days. Parking nearby for €7.50 is also great, and one of the garage attendants is very friendly! A good place to stay for Porto.

“Porto mágico”

The hotel is very beautiful, comfortable, and well located. In front there is a lovely square. The staff are very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

I slept well on the comfortable bed and the location was great, but the bathroom was tiny and it was almost impossible to take a shower in the tub.

The location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff were positives. The lack of a lounge area was a drawback.

“Bon rapport qualité/prix”

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, and the location was superb; housekeeping came every day. The only issue was the hallway noise around 8 am, and the soundproofing could use improvement for more comfort.
