The Croatian receptionist was polite and attentive. We were surprised to have to pay on arrival, something we hadn’t experienced elsewhere. Breakfast and dinner disappointed us.

What struck us most during our stay at In Excelsis was the hospitality, service, warm reception, professional staff with smiles (all praise), then the beautiful, enchanting view from the hotel, clean and well‑equipped rooms, a varied breakfast menu, all tasty and fresh… In short: an unforgettable holiday for soul and body, worth a visit.

Rent a pent hotel with very friendly staff. Too many beds, but we got an extra mattress that helped a little.

The wellness area and the view are amazing. The breakfast is really basic and below expectations. There’s a generator or something by the antenna on one side of the hotel and you can hear it all the time in the room.
