I liked how close the hotel was to the train station and the variety of shops and restaurants nearby. The buffet breakfast worked well for an early start to explore Venice, and the washroom looked very modern. However, the room felt a bit cramped for four adults, the walls were thin and you could hear other guests, the beds weren't as comfortable as I'd hoped, and there was no elevator, so bring your luggage with caution.

The location was good and it was easy to get around from the accommodation. The room was very small and cramped, and the bathroom was tiny. There was a strong cigarette smell coming straight through the window, and the only ventilation window was near a frequent smoker, so the smoke filled the room. Also, there was no iron in the room or anywhere else in the hotel, which would have been useful especially for longer stays.

I got great value in Cannaregio and felt safe walking back alone at night because the nearby streets were full of people. The personalized service made this stay stand out, better than any other in Italy. The room was light and airy with an external window, and being on the ground floor meant I didn't have to lug bags up stairs. I didn't book breakfast, but it smelled great. I'd definitely return. The only downside was that the bathroom was packed with essentials—shower, toilet, bidet, and a large sink—making it hard to move around, but the bedroom had plenty of space.

The location is fantastic, close to the station and within walking distance of tourist spots. The staff were sensationally friendly, and the room was very clean with renovated facilities. They let me store my luggage until the afternoon. The room didn't meet my expectations; it had minimal features, little natural light, felt damp, and the beds and pillows were somewhat uncomfortable and rigid. There were no water bottles or kettle, unlike other hotels at this price.
