The property and the food were fine. In short: we were two and stopped for dinner. There was no à‑la‑carte menu, only a fixed menu for €35. My husband chose an antipasto and a first course, I only had the second. For dinner the manager charged a total of €55 for the two of us. When I asked for clarification, he replied that the managers were themselves. Frankly, that seemed a bit opaque; we would have expected a small surcharge of a few euros for the two covers… We would have expected to pay à‑la‑carte but we should have had a menu with other options and the corresponding prices! On the other hand, the ingredients used for our dishes were the same as those in the fixed menu, even though they were served to two different people! Too bad! A drop in style!

Absolute quiet. The weather was a bit chilly. In late spring and in summer I think it would be better.

It was a different kind of adventure. Secluded and reachable only via narrow forest roads, it was a special spot. Breakfast was excellent with homemade baking. It was nice to get to know the host a little.
