“Nice people but place is lacking”

The staff was great, greeting me every day with a friendly hello. The floors, however, were really dirty—clean on the surface but enough grime to ruin my socks. The WIFI hardly ever worked, and there were ongoing renovations; it wasn’t terrible, but knowing this beforehand would have saved me a week.

The rooms were upgraded, but the street was very noisy—cars could be heard from every room. The room itself wasn’t very clean: urine stains on the toilet, hair on the floor, and the AC was mounted high, making the lights too bright. The windows’ shading didn’t work. Management was absent after 11 pm, and other tenants stayed loud all night with no one to intervene, so we had to cut our stay short because of lack of sleep.

“For a one night only stay while traveling, it compares well to other single overnight experiences.”

The recent remodeling was done extremely well. It was most noticeable in the bathroom where quality materials, modern design, and expert installation are obvious. The main room had a great bed with several additional pillows, etc. The mini refrigerator works nicely and is concealed within an attractive desk. The TvV worked well and internet connectivity was fast and reliable. The proprietor, Mickey, is friendly, affable, and a pleasure to visit with. It was a Friday night and local traffic on the street the property is located upon has a fair amount of traffic. Some cars seemed to be racing but activity died down at a reasonable time. The unit has a new and effective air conditioning/heater unit so windows may be kept closed to minimize street noise
