“Great place to stay.”
Location, location, location! The building is very interesting and historic, but the bathroom lighting was very dim.

The design of our room was exceptional, the staff were fantastic, and the property is beautiful. Some breakfast items could have been warmer, but there was a good variety.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Staying in the old buildings with the uniquely decorated, quiet, spacious rooms was a real treat.

The location was great, the welcome warm, and I could enjoy the bar and its billiards in complete privacy.

I was blown away by the historic building, every wall and corner echoing its past. We let them know we were vegetarian beforehand and they arranged special meals for us. The billiards table added a fun touch. As for the room, it blended old charm with modern touches; we were worried about stale air and a bad shower, but the bath was great and the scent in the room was pleasant. The bed was spacious and comfortable. The floor creaked, which makes sense given the age, and there were a few stairs, though no one offered to help with our luggage. A guided tour or at least a brochure detailing the building’s history and artifacts would have made the already excellent stay even better.
