The location was great, the room was modern, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but there were rats running around the city, and consequently outside the hotel as well.

The snack‑and‑go area had a decent selection, though a sit‑down breakfast would have been welcome. The variety of healthy options was limited, which I noted in my comment about the restaurant. Overall, it worked fine for a sightseeing trip but could use a bit more choice.

The vibe at the hotel is really good for both young and older guests, the location is excellent, and the area feels very safe. Rooms were clean and the staff were very good. When we arrived, our room wasn’t listed as reserved even though we had booked through Booking, but they gave us another room right away with no problem; I understand that might not happen if rooms were fully booked, so maybe we were lucky. The rooms aren’t designed for 23‑kg suitcases, so you can’t leave them open and there isn’t a wardrobe large enough to keep clothes handy. With two people, two large suitcases, and two carry‑on bags, space became an issue.

The location was excellent. The room was small, as expected, but having a place to put at least two small suitcases would have been appreciated. The welcome snacks were Gatorade and cheese crackers; I’d have preferred water. The rooftop was lovely, but it felt odd having to go to the lobby each time to get someone to let you up. The blackout blinds broke every day, yet the staff were quick to fix them.

I’ve stayed at the Moxy in several cities and have always been pleased. The atmosphere is fun, and the staff are consistently great. Nothing negative—everything was perfect.
