“Desert silence, stars, and true hospitality.”
We had an amazing stay at Rum Stars Camp. The camp is tucked away in a stunning spot deep in the Wadi Rum protected desert, with incredible views of mountains and dunes all around. The host arranged a full-day desert trip for us across Wadi Rum, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. We explored beautiful landscapes. The lunch our guide cooked for us right there in the middle of nowhere – simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious made the whole experience feel personal and special. We were actually the only guests at the camp because of the current situation in the region, which made everything feel very quiet and private. At the same time, it was a bit of a pity, because such an incredible place really deserves more people and a bit more life and energy. The staff were very professional and took good care of everything. There was plenty of food throughout our stay, and dinner at the camp was especially good, with authentic Bedouin-style dishes. Our tent was clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped with a private bathroom and a terrace looking out over the dramatic desert scenery. Overall, a highly recommended place if you’re visiting Wadi Rum and want more than just accommodation – it’s a full desert experience with unforgettable landscapes and genuine hospitality. The only small improvement point would be to reduce artificial lighting in the evening. It would make the night sky even more spectacular, allowing guests to fully enjoy the incredible stars over the desert
The location was superb and the room was gorgeous in a stunning setting, and Abdullah provided consistently excellent service, always looking after us.
We had a fantastic stay at Rum Stars. Ahmed and his crew were excellent; Ahmed let us tweak the tour schedule and the pricing was clear from the get‑go. The staff handled our luggage smoothly. The room stayed spotless, and the beds and pillows were super comfy. I didn’t expect that kind of luxury in the middle of the desert. We loved swinging while watching the sunrise and sunset. Both dinner and breakfast were generous and tasty. They kept water on hand, and tea and coffee were always available. We really enjoyed our time and would love to come back.
