If there’s a hotel that earns the label “practically located and easy to find,” it’s this one. You practically stumble in whether you arrive by Shinkansen, JR Line, or bus. The hotel ran like a well‑oiled machine, everything worked smoothly, from the lock‑protected luggage storage to the routine, fluent English with non‑Japanese guests. The room had the standard size and amenities of a business hotel, was clean, and the breakfast buffet was varied. There was no crowding because you had to pick a 20‑minute slot the day before. Laundry facilities are available. I would have liked a public bath, though the nearby town Yudaonsen offers hot springs.

Self‑check‑in and check‑out were fine, and the front staff were kind. The breakfast felt homemade and was tasty. The bathtub was too high, making it hard to get in and out.

The station is close, but there aren’t many restaurants nearby that serve dinner for people who don’t drink.

The bed was super comfy and everything was spotless; breakfast was heavily stocked and tasty, and the staff were very understanding. The only downside was the lack of space to open suitcases on the floor, forcing me to open them on the bed which got dirty.
