The room was spacious and the onsen felt refreshing, but the only stairs made it a bit tough to bring luggage with a child.

The staff were very helpful, clearly explaining the spa and breakfast. The room was huge and stocked with everything we needed, and the onsen was clean, with perfect water quality and temperature. Breakfast was beautifully presented, well prepared, and the portions were just right. The location is a little far from the bus stop, but the quiet setting makes up for it.

The room was large, but the breakfast was disappointing.

The staff were exceptional; it was my first ryokan and they patiently explained etiquette and answered all my questions politely. Breakfast was gorgeous and delicious! The room was cool, with tatami mats and a futon setup that gave me a restful night for the first time since arriving in Japan. I’d love to stay again when I visit Hakone. The furniture in the room felt slightly outdated, but that might just be my lack of experience with ryokans.

Thanks for the great hospitality! Unfortunately, there is no shower inside the room.
