“Schönes Hotel - Preis/leistung auf für die Schweiz völlig daneben”

The location was great and the facilities were good, but the rooms felt too small for the price. The value for money was completely off; I only registered one person for the room, while the second person cost 110 francs, about 125 €. When I asked what that covered, they said it was for breakfast and towels 🤣🤣. It also seemed like booking customers were assigned the worst rooms in the category, and a higher floor required an extra fee.

I was impressed by the atmosphere, the service and the cake, and the breakfast was outstanding; the grounds were gorgeous, and there was nothing negative.

“Jederzeit wieder - hervorragend!”

We booked three rooms and received two upgrades – fantastic! The reception and staff were excellent, and the ice‑cream stand at the front desk was top. Breakfast, location, rooms/suites and the overall property were all great. The only drawbacks were that there was no doorbell on the room door, the light and blinds switches were complicated to operate, a floor lamp was plugged into the wrong socket (instead of the switched one, it was in an un‑switched three‑way socket next to it), the staff’s work clothes were not very advantageous, and the spa/salon would benefit from pleasant aromas and scents.

The staff were very courteous and friendly. The suite with the large terrace overlooking the lake and the mountains was dreamy. The spacious garden with the pools and the direct lake access was unique.
