The host gave me a very warm welcome and was attentive to every detail. The room is spacious and comes with everything you need to feel comfortable. Breakfast was tasty, though the natto was a bit too special for someone not used to Japanese cuisine, and there were several small dishes. The bathrooms feel a bit outdated, and it’s unfortunate that there are so few guests, but that seems to be a common issue in all of Unzen.

The owner is kind. Even though she doesn’t really speak English, she cared about me and asked if I was feeling cold in the morning while I was having breakfast

食事がとても美味しかった。 宿の方がとても親切でした。 平日だった事もあり大人1人泊の人ばかりだったのかとても静かに過ごせました。（ただ、家族連れの方が居たら民宿なので騒々しいかも）. 宿の前の道路に出る段差解消の補修に大きく欠けてる所があり夜に外出時に見事に転けました。
