Come gli ospiti valutano la struttura, aspetto per aspetto.
The room was clean and had easy access, but the property needs work: the door had been damaged from a break‑in and there was a crack between the door and floor, a melted ice cream in the freezer had not been cleaned out, the window blind was old, had a hole, and didn’t work properly, and the front entry to the motel needs updating and overall cleaning; the motel needs some TLC.

I didn’t like anything about the property; the exterior is a falling‑apart wreck, even though someone tried to upgrade the interiors. The facade has many rotten or missing bits, the so‑called kitchen only has one set of cutlery, a potato masher (which I needed on holiday) but no bottle opener or more than a single teaspoon, the wardrobe is just a rail of coat hangers above the bedside table, and the TV is positioned at 90 degrees to both the bed and the couch. Everything, including the service, was bad: the owner said he was too busy to help me, and even when I insisted on checking in, the tearful cleaner couldn’t do it in half an hour and threw the vacuum at the supervisor. If you remember Faulty Towers, this is the real‑life version.

I was given the door code but not told to enter the room number first, so I couldn’t get in for a while until another guest told me; the instructions on how to enter the room were unclear.

The spot was spot‑on for what I needed.

The lock on entry number 12 was a bit fiddly to open and shut; the staff were friendly and promised to fix it, but it still feels like it needs improvement.
