I didn’t like the property at all—it looked awful. We were greeted by an alcoholic who didn’t know what day it was, was aggressive, asked for the code, and swore, making us uncomfortable. The person who was supposed to greet us just ignored us, and I was so annoyed.

It was warm, but be careful—this address is used for people on bail. Before I even entered, I met another resident who was clearly under the influence of drugs and had mental issues. He made me feel scared, intimidated, and aggressive. He insisted on coming with me to meet my friend, and when I refused, he got really angry; the only way he calmed down was when I gave him money. I was so scared I grabbed my stuff and left.

“Would have rather stayed in a tent in a field”

The mattress was terrible—springs digging in us and hardly any sleep. A constant, loud beeping all night from what was probably a smoke alarm that needed new batteries. The room was freezing cold after getting in from the rain, and the radiator valve was taken off to prevent us from turning on the heat. There was a gap in the door frame so you could literally see into our room. It’s an absolute disgrace to charge anyone any amount of money to stay here—£50 for one night, when £5 would have been more accurate. The check‑in system was confusing with too many digits and poor grammar. The shower didn’t even have a bracket to hold the shower head. To top it off, other people in the property slammed doors in the morning and smoked inside, which was extremely frustrating, rude, unfair, and unsafe.

This is a scam 🚩🚩🚩. I’m still fighting to get a refund.
