The accommodation is very close to the beach and many restaurants. The beds are comfortable and there is air‑conditioning. It’s noisy. If you want to sleep, don’t count on it. On one side the street is very busy, tuk‑tuks, buses and cars run from 5 am, and the place is not at all insulated. On the other side a train runs that is very loud. Next to it is a venue with live music open until midnight. In the bathroom the person feels like standing on a stage… The floor is incredibly slippery!!! Really have to be careful not to fall! I once twisted my ankle painfully. The water in the bathroom is lukewarm, and water from the sink drips onto the floor. Wi‑Fi is extremely weak. The staff do not speak English, contact with an English‑speaking person only via WhatsApp.

The apartment is truly new, large and spacious. It’s designed in a fairly minimalist style, using white and blue tones as seen in the photos… Unique and stylish. Everything is very clean. On the street side there’s a large terrace where you can enjoy a pleasant coffee, and on the back side a small terrace with a view of the river. The location is excellent, with many shops, bars and restaurants nearby, as well as a pharmacy and Ayurvedic centers. The turtle beach is right there, exactly across the road. There’s no big wave, so it’s very safe. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. All problems that arose were solved.

“Large budget apartment with potential, but come prepared”

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They arranged an airport transfer and met me on arrival early in the morning. The apartment is very spacious with a large private covered balcony overlooking Turtle Beach. It’s very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the traffic noise and the mosquitoes (there is a stagnant creek behind the property) were unbearable for me. You’ll need to bring a can of fly spray, loads of mosquito repellent and ear plugs to make the most of this otherwise good apartment.

The price/quality is 10 out of 10. Excellent location, the room is across the road from the best spot to swim on Hikkadavy beach, where there are fewer waves and palm trees to hide from the sun. If you walk along this beach, after 100 m you’ll reach Turtle beach. Nearby there are also many shops, bars and a pharmacy kiosk. This is not a hotel, but a separate room on the second floor above an Ayurvedic massage. The room is spacious, two large double beds are protected by mosquito nets, there is a balcony that opens onto the river and a terrace that opens onto the road, from which you can see the sea and the beach. The room is clean, the linens and towels are clean and white. The new mattress and pillows are convenient. In the room, besides the beds, there are chairs, a table, a clothes hanger, a shelf with a kettle and tea supplies (water, tea and coffee are not provided). There is an air conditioner, fans above the beds and good Wi‑Fi. The bathroom is spacious, with soap and shampoo. The hosts are very sweet and friendly, and they contacted us via WhatsApp before arrival. The main drawbacks: no hot water, no fridge. At night you can hear cars from the road. Minor issues: no power adapters, little space for clothes. Basically there’s only one hanger to hang clothes. If you’re two people, you can spread your stuff on the second bed; if there are more people, you’ll have to keep your stuff in a suitcase. There’s no tea, coffee and bottled water. There’s no clothes dryer. But that’s easy to fix.

“Nyt og fantastisk udsigt”

Helt nyt rummeligt værelse med fantastisk udsigt til havet, floden og gaden. Terasse ud mod gaden og mod Turtle point hvor der hver morgen kom havskildpadder. Meget imødekommende værter som ex kom med elkedel til os da vi spurgte. Plads til 4 personer så der kunne bruges 1 tøjstativ mere. Kunne bruges bord med 4 stole på terassen
