After a week in the noisy, crowded valleys of Dharamkot and the surrounding villages, we needed some calm, and this hotel delivered: it sits in a quiet village area, rooms offer a breathtaking view of the Himalayas, and the silence is perfect—waking up to bird songs and falling asleep to the chirps of crickets. The lift, excellent air‑conditioning, mini‑bar, electric kettle, and shower with great water pressure were all there. We stayed for six nights over a two‑and‑a‑half‑week period, returning after a few days of trekking to rest. Every type of room was pleasant, beautiful, bright, and well‑equipped, from the basic to the suite. The food was tasty and reasonably priced at the lovely rooftop restaurant with its stunning view, the alcohol bar offered a wide selection, and the staff were charming and courteous, especially manager Nikhil, receptionists Pankaj, and the lovely person from the restaurant/room service whose name I forgot. We really enjoyed it and it will definitely be our hotel in Daramshala for future visits to the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The only downside is that you have to take a taxi to get in and out, as there is no public transport to the area; a taxi to Dharamkot cost 1200 rupees.
1) View from the room (307) is the best I have had in my life. You can see the awesome Dhauladhar range right from the balcony. 2) Staff is amazing. On the last day we had to check out early morning, they quickly rustled up breakfast for us even though it was earlier than their usual start time. 3) Food, room, Wi-Fi etc were all good. 4) This place is perfect for those who prefer peace and quiet as it is a bit away from the main town center
“Überraschend positiv und sehr zufrieden”
The rooms were really clean and the view from the hotel was breathtaking. Only downside is that the hotel is a bit tricky to get to, but that's just because of the local landscape.
“מקום להירגע בו”
A lovely hotel in a peaceful, scenic spot with high‑level service, luxurious, air‑conditioned and tidy rooms; the rooftop restaurant and bar were superb and offered stunning views of the Himalayas. No complaints.
The hotel is magnificent, with comfortable, very spacious rooms. It is set in an extremely peaceful environment, far from city noise, with an unobstructed view of the Himalayas. The staff on site are very helpful. We were kindly upgraded without asking, and I highly recommend it!
