“This experience was very unprofessional”
I booked this property for two nights for my family. The hotel confirmed the reservation, and we planned everything around it. Later they sent me a message asking me to cancel the booking, saying it was due to a “system error,” and asked me to cancel. This was extremely disappointing, especially at the last minute. What made it worse was that they didn’t call me, only messaged. When I tried calling the hotel, the number was unreachable and not working. After I sent several messages, they finally responded and explained the issue. It’s hard to believe this kind of reason after a confirmed booking and to ask me to cancel. This experience was very unprofessional and does not reflect the true spirit of Sri Lankan hospitality. I would not recommend this hotel to either locals or foreigners.
