The rooms are tidy, the pool is a nice touch, and the staff—especially the owner—are genuinely helpful and energetic. I didn’t try the breakfast because my suite had a kitchenette, but I’m sure it would’ve been tasty. The only downside? None, really.

Nestled amid a cluster of Santo Daime churches, the lodge feels almost magical. The owners are wonderful and make sure everything’s covered. It’s a bit remote, so catching a ride can be tricky, but they either give you a lift or share a trusted driver’s contact.
