We loved how quiet and pleasant the hotel was, just a short walk from a Rewe supermarket and a handful of cafés and restaurants, and the breakfast served in the morning was wonderful – definitely worth recommending.

The self‑check‑in worked flawlessly; we booked only an hour before arriving, there was no staff on site, but the instructions were clear and everything ran smoothly.

The room was clean and the beds comfortable. This was the most horrible experience ever in Germany. We booked the room as a stop‑over while driving from Croatia back to Denmark. After a 12‑hour drive we were exhausted and wanted to relax and get some sleep to be ready for the next day’s drive. We arrived at 9 p.m. and had to leave again around midnight. The room was sweltering hot with no way to cool it. It sat directly in the sun all day, windows closed, no air‑condition or fan. A town party was happening across from the Gasthof, with loud music, people shouting and jeering, cars and motorcycles revving loudly right outside. We couldn’t open the windows either. Even with them closed we could hear the noise loudly, including other guests slamming doors and windows in the building. After trying to sleep for 1½ hours in 30 °C and extreme noise, and all four of us failing, we left to continue the journey, risking driving while sleep‑impaired. It was that horrible. We weren’t going to sleep anyway, so we drove. Ideas: ventilate the room before guests arrive when it’s hot. Install air‑con if possible, otherwise provide fans in each room. Warn guests by email before arrival if an extraordinary amount of noise is expected, so they can make other arrangements if that doesn’t suit them.

I booked through the app with ease and arrived without hassle, found the room spotless, the shower was fantastic, and the breakfast was good and plentiful.
