I wanted a walk‑to‑the‑beach stopover after catching up with friends, so I didn’t have to drive 1.5 hours home. Value for money and cleanliness were my priorities, and the Ocean View Hotel, though a bit dated, met those needs: clean, close to the ocean, hot water, comfortable bed, and affordable. I didn’t feel overcharged. Off‑street parking and helpful staff, both on the phone and in person, were a bonus. The only drawback is that an update would be nice, but then the price would rise.
