“Hotel in middle of nowhere with lots of nature activities”

The resort offered many included activities such as boat rides, caves, and a stunning pool with amazing scenery; electric cars could be summoned by message or by hopping on one passing by, and staff were readily available on WhatsApp, which was great. A few cute cats wandered the park, so I brought some cat food. However, the air conditioner in our room turned off at 11 pm and it stayed hot during the summer; it woke us up and we had to call maintenance. They turned it back on, but by 1 am it was off again along with the backup fan, ruining our sleep and preventing us from waking up for breakfast. Dinner at the restaurant was fine, but the dishes we wanted were gone because of a party. I couldn’t understand why we were put in a room facing a wall when the hotel was almost empty, especially after I had already paid more than the daily rates and still received a terrible room.

The attractions were okay, the best was the bird garden, the festival program was well invested, my kids loved the evening trade beer program, and the resort’s scenery was beautiful with many photo‑opportunities at check‑in. The room facilities were ordinary and pricey for the value. The front‑desk staff were terrible in service attitude; I booked via Booking but they told me they didn’t sell rooms on Booking, asked me to call Booking, and after I found the resort number on Booking, I had to call that number for a while before being able to check in. My kids played in the lobby near the TV out of curiosity but were shooed away; the staff’s attitude was unacceptable. The restaurant food was awful; it was expensive, but even simple grilled meat was overcooked, dry, and bland, like reheated old meat.

“Worth to stay, just be prepared”

Bird tour! 100 % should go. The resort itself is really lovely and the reception staff were great, especially the manager. Note that the reserve operates more like a tourist park than the animal reserve we imagine elsewhere, and English is very limited. There are four security checkpoints to enter the resort; guards always stop you and say you can’t enter, especially when the park is closed. You can try to explain you’re staying there, but the guards ignore you unless you call reception at each station, which is inconvenient. You’re very far from everything, which is part of the appeal, but the restaurant isn’t the best and overall services are limited.
