The room size was a plus, but there was no power, no initial hot water, the room card had to be constantly updated to open the door, the bathroom had mould, and the place overall felt run‑down with a smoker’s smell.

The location was good, but the conditions were poor.

After the rough night we had in Flint, this place felt a lot better; the room was spacious enough for the grandbabies, spotless, and safe, and we especially enjoyed the balcony that opened onto our room.
