The building was dilapidated with no services, and cleaning was completely absent—after a week nothing was cleaned, and to get soap I had to email them. They even gave my room to another guest, and after two weeks I still haven’t received an invoice.

I found the room spacious, though the little touches like coffee and water were nice. The lack of a window blind was annoying, the soundproofing was terrible, and the hallway light would spill into the room when the door was open. The staircase looked shabby.

The place was clean and simple, but it felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel. There was no breakfast, and the only contact number was for emergencies. More breakfast options would help, and depending on how many nights you stay, you’d need more bathroom supplies and breakfast variety.

We missed breakfast, but a wonderful bakery was just around the corner; they offered two coffee pods but no tea. There was nobody on site to hand over the key, and we luckily avoided the bar’s live music night, otherwise the room would have been noisy.
