“Excellent community owned hotel”

The location is great, the staff are friendly, and the room is comfortable, clean, and well stocked; free parking is nearby with clear instructions from the hotel. We didn’t eat there this time, but the food looked great. It sits in the middle of Corwen, and the bakery opposite is worth a visit. The building is old and being restored, so there are many stairs as expected in a historic hotel.

The location and hospitality were really good, and we enjoyed staying here. Everything was perfect, even though construction was going on; that’s a normal part of maintenance, so I can’t complain.

“A nice quiet break , no hustle and bustle”

All the staff were very friendly and the food was very good; we had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both were very good. The hotel is undergoing some work that we didn’t expect, but it wasn’t really an inconvenience and everything was clean, with no mess or dust visible.

“Really welcoming staff team. Nothing was an issue for them. Room really comfy and clean.”

The staff team is friendly and very welcoming. I appreciate the work that needs to be done to the front of the building, but I didn’t see any notification that this was happening. It might be worth sharing on this site that the scaffolding will be there for a while before the building is revealed in its new glorious finish.

“Amazing!”

This was a lovely hotel my dog was made really welcome the staff loved her and to be honest the staff made this place they were exceptional I will definitely be going back again
