Everything was great. The only downside was that it felt a bit pricey for a three‑star property.

The rooms were spotless and sound‑proof, even though the hotel sits on a busy street, so the noise was almost nonexistent. Parking right in front of the hotel made it easy to drop off luggage. The breakfast, however, was disappointing: the sweet section was thin on options, and the savory side only offered stale toast bread.

The location was perfect, right in the center. We had a parking spot booked in the hotel’s garage, which was fantastic. Carolina was very responsive and helpful before we arrived. The room was tidy and the beds were wonderful. We didn’t hear any traffic at night because the windows were closed and the AC was on. Breakfast was good, and the harbor for the Cinque Terre boat was within walking distance. The train station was also a short walk away, a little farther than the harbor, but the train was much cheaper and faster than the boat. There were no complaints at all – we’d love to come back. La Spezia is a fun city.
