“Our stay was okay. Be aware, only the first picture of the room is the actual room. The other pictures are not represent”
The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was unusable: the shower was too low to stand in, and the sink was positioned so you couldn’t stand in front of it.
“Staff here were very helpful and charming. Strong recommend.”
The location is superb, only a stroll from Registan, and I liked being next to the Amir Timur mausoleum. The courtyard with fruit trees and the tasty breakfast served there were delightful, and the room was comfortable. Don’t let the entrance on a small residential side street fool you; it’s a short walk to the mausoleum entrance.
The hotel sits in a convenient spot, the rooms are spotless, and the staff are genuinely friendly. I would have liked a concierge to point us toward guides for Samarkand and nearby sights.
The place is in a prime spot, just a short walk from the Gur‑i Amir Complex and Registan square, and the outdoor areas look nice. They even brought free fruit during a break from the heat. Unfortunately, the bathroom left a lot to be desired—the shower and sink tap barely worked, the water pressure and volume were weak, and the water was lukewarm to cold. I raised the issue with staff, who promised to investigate but never followed up. Given the price, I expected better, so I won’t stay here again.
The staff were very attentive. The restaurant was closed.
