La détente

The spot right on the water was great and super quiet. However, when I arrived around 18 o’clock the outdoor area looked untidy, and I pointed that out straight away. The flat was cold and damp upon arrival; with the host’s phone help I managed to start the pellet stove only after a while. The bed had no sheets, and I didn’t know which ones I could use – all of them were clammy. The sink was dirty, as were the stove and the toaster. The dishes from the previous guests were still left around. I had to hunt for the trash bag myself. Because the flat overall felt messy, I didn’t dare shower or cook anything. I only noticed the untidiness mainly because of the lighting in the early morning.

All the nature, the marsh, owls, the night cat that visits us, etc. The entrance gate system of the chalet is a bit problematic.

The décor, the view, the comfort and the equipment were all great, but there was no tap water at all, the path to the chalet was poorly lit and badly marked when we arrived, and the bathroom and toilet were outside even though the listing photo said otherwise.
