Red Sun Nha Trang Hotel

The hotel is great value for money. We booked an 18th‑floor room with sea view. From the balcony we could see the famous “Vinoearl” location. The hotel itself is excellent, with many restaurants nearby, but we mainly went to the one right outside the hotel exit. The food there was more to our liking. It’s about a 5‑minute walk. If you walk straight from the hotel to the sea, the beach area is relatively free, unlike the spots to the right or left. The sea is clean. If asked, I would definitely recommend the hotel. If we return to Nha Trang, we’ll stay here again.

Good hotel, but at check‑in they tried to offer a cheaper room, so before agreeing to check‑in, compare the room you booked with what’s offered. The staff were polite and everything was as requested. Cleaning was daily. The linens were excellent, all spotless, pillows comfortable, the bed was large but firm (good for the back). We stayed in a suite, a huge room with a bathtub, shower, and toilet, all working properly, hot water always available. Breakfast was mediocre, but there was scrambled eggs with bacon, and what else do you need? At check‑in they tried to give a cheaper room and the bed was very firm.

The price‑to‑service ratio felt fair and the team responded instantly to any comment, while the location suited me well and the breakfast offered a decent variety, though the fruit was disappointing all week – mango and passion fruit appeared one morning, but the rest of the days brought tasteless melon, orange and another unknown fruit, which seemed odd for this country where fresh fruit should shine; the tea was weak and there were no tea bags for self‑brewing. The staff were very attentive and assisted with everything. On the downside, tasty fruit and decent tea were missing at breakfast; the linens often smelled musty, and although we asked for fresh ones they were swapped only to be replaced later with another stale set, especially the pillows; there was dirt under the bed even at check‑in; and mosquitoes came up through the bathroom vent.
