“Lake Grappa is a real oasis!”

A beautiful guest farm! The chalets were very cosy and well equipped. The staff was so friendly and helpful, they even set up the Boma for our big group to braai and made us delicious salads to enjoy with our braai. Our neighbours were a bit rowdy late at night but everything else was perfect.

Breakfast was booked for my birthday at 9:00 am, but I was a bit disappointed when it was served at 11:15 am, and the breakfast service was lacking.

Everything was great – the location, the facilities and the price‑performance ratio were all spot on, and we had the freedom to enjoy the property while also having a bar and seating areas on site. The only thing that could use improvement is adding mosquito nets in front of the windows.

“Quiet, relaxing stay near the Augrabies”

The staff were amazing, incredibly welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to help and assist wherever they could. We stayed in a cottage, which was spacious and comfortable. We did not realise the restaurant does not serve even staying guests on Sundays. The staff went out of their way to help us make alternative plans, but it would be better to think about this ahead of time

“Heel basic maar wel proper”

The houses were well‑situated with river views and close to the nature park, which was exactly what we wanted. The small room had an old‑fashioned bathroom. After the cleaning crew sprayed a kind of fly spray, I got a huge headache – you really have to sleep in it afterward!
