“Great place to stay in the vicinity of Sorrento”
The apartment was clean and spacious. The decor is somewhat retro‑in a good way, and overall the place is in excellent condition. A washing machine and dishwasher are a great plus. At the building entrance there’s a decent restaurant (“Da Peppino”), and across the street an excellent supermarket, so very convenient. There were also quite a few food items available when we arrived. The hosts are generally responsive, though some more than others. Parking is a bit of an issue. While there are many blue‑line parking spots in the surrounding streets, most are occupied in the evening, when you’re returning from activities. We did manage to find a spot, though. You’ll need to pay for blue‑line parking, but not at night or on weekends. There’s a limit of several hours, so if you plan to leave the car parked for a full day you’ll need to find a garage, which is costly. Electricity in the apartment (apart from the fridge) is only active when the key is inserted in a special socket. This can be quite a nuisance, especially if someone wants to go somewhere when others are staying in the apartment. If someone goes somewhere without the key, they can’t enter the building, and someone who is staying in the apartment will have to come and open the building door for them.
