What an amazing property! A beautifully appointed room overlooking the canal, just a few minutes’ walk from Bruges centre. The hosts exceeded our expectations, sharing the property’s history, restaurant tips, canal tours, chocolate vendor info, and more. We even had a breakfast to take away for the train—thanks, Hans and Tamara. Nothing was lacking.

Hans and Tamara welcomed us with warmth and kindness, and their 1675 canal home looks beautifully renovated, cozy and well-appointed. The spot is perfect, right near the old city center and main sights. Every morning they offered a tasty breakfast spread for guests. The elevator made moving luggage in and out a breeze. Hans gave us a solid overview of Bruges, highlighted places to visit, and suggested great local restaurants. We’d love to return!
