The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, regularly tidied, and towels were changed. The area is quiet and you can watch regional dance training on the street outside the hotel. Breakfast starts early. The price is high, the breakfast is not very abundant or varied, and depending on the time of day the hot water wasn't always available.

The location is close to the center and the place is quiet. Breakfast was very simple and could be omitted; there was no available covered parking even though it was advertised, so I parked on the street in front of the hotel. I also suggested adding a mini‑fridge.

When I arrived, the lady in charge told me my reservation had been cancelled because “they don’t trust Peruvians,” and she gave the room to a foreigner that same day. Everything was terrible, from the sudden cancellation without notice to the treatment.

Cleanliness is good. The parking is physically poor and poorly managed; I felt it didn’t matter that we were leaving early the next day for our trek, and we weren’t advised to leave earlier (they don’t know about tours or guide visitors). On the day of my trek, when I asked to retrieve my car from the parking, the staff did it reluctantly, as if they didn’t want to.

Breakfast was a bit slow, but if you’re not pressed for time it’s fine; the rooms are decent in size and the staff is friendly, and the laundry service is quick and clean.
