“Amazing few days at a cozy lodge in the mountains.”

A super cute spot with super friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing and the location is great! The driveway in winter is steep, so you really need good tires and 4WD. I managed to get up fine but other parking was limited.

“Great value, location, amenities and overall location.”

The morning food was excellent and the workers’ hospitality was amazing too. The location to the slopes was perfect as well. My only complaint was the beds. They were comfortable enough to get a full night’s sleep, but my bad back hurt and felt tight in the morning. Otherwise it was perfectly sufficient.

The location is fantastic – a 2‑minute walk to a chair lift, a 3‑minute walk to the rental ski gear shop, a 5‑minute walk to Main Street. The owners were super helpful and friendly, very quick with their replies. Breakfast in the morning was simple but delicious and had all the necessary things. The driveway got super slippery and icy.

“Like staying with extended family”

Tracey, Paul, and the whole team were friendly, and Paul’s tips on parking around the hills were a lifesaver. The downstairs lounge is a nice spot to unwind, and having a kettle in the room was a great bonus. It’s close to the ski school, but oddly the school’s beginner area is limited to black runs or an icy cat track that only goes back to the Kokusai lift. When there’s snow it’s near the ski out, but it takes about a 6‑7 minute walk to the lift in the morning. The mattresses felt a bit hard and “springy,” and the hot water came on and off during showers.
