“In centro a Kos Town”
The cleaning was spot‑on, the rooms were spacious, and the small appliances—like the toaster, American coffee machine, and microwave—were handy. The location on a street near the bike path to the port was ideal. The cleaning ladies were friendly and the house was cleaned almost daily. The building is old and the furniture is poorly made; the chairs tear clothes and scratch skin. There are spoons and pots but no ladle or other cooking utensils. The air‑conditioning doesn’t work, the walls are thin and you can hear the neighboring rooms. It’s acceptable for a September trip, but not for August. The power supply is bad, phones charge very slowly. The hotel looks very old and seems to have had no maintenance for years; there was a broken, dangerous outlet, our 4‑year‑old boy hurt himself on a chair, and in the pool he slipped on a broken drain grate. There’s no buffet, so don’t book breakfast! It’s a real pity because with a bit of care, buying two new pieces of furniture and utensils, and adding a breakfast buffet, this hotel could easily become a 3/4‑star property.
