The apartments have all the little things a tired traveler might need. Inflatable sticks for swimming in Heviz were provided, and the host gave a coupon for a discounted lake pass. Free parking is available, perfect for those driving. The hosts are educated and tactful, offering vegetables, fruit, and delicious homemade pastries. The house sits on a hill; walking to the lake takes 25‑30 minutes, to the bus station 20 minutes. A 10‑minute bus ride takes you to Keszthely, where you’re already on Lake Balaton. You can take a boat or stroll the resort. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for healing in Heviz and exploring the surroundings.

Anna and Szilard are welcoming hosts. They picked me up from the train station and we got to know each other during the ride. Szilard showed me the property, its garden where I could enjoy fresh tomatoes and cucumbers occasionally, and the available bike. When I settled in, he brought a welcome pot with biscuits, and others were warmly offered throughout the stay. Finally, Szilard escorted me back to the station. I really appreciated the calm and cleanliness of the place and the area. The owners are very caring, attentive, and respectful to their guests.

Everything was fine and the operators were kind. Cycling was exhausting—though I’m usually in training—because the distance from the lake was far. Walking would have been even harder: it’s a long way from the lake.

Cleanliness and the owner's approach were excellent. It’s far from the city center, and parking is on the sunny side.
